Teaching children about ocean animals is very important as 75% of the earth’s surface is covered with the ocean. They can affect weather, food, temperature, and even our life as 70%-80% of oxygen is supplied by marine plants. The never-ending water body is filled with various aquatic animals that are interesting, unique, and mysterious. Although we have explored only five percent of the water bodies, we have discovered around 2,30,000 species.
A captivating field trip was arranged for class II students on 7th November, 2023 to explore Kankaria Zoo as a part of their POI unit “Kinds of animals and their adaptations.”
DAY 1 & 2: The students of IBDP - I and II took a trip to Dandeli from the 9th to 14th October, 2023 as a part of the CAS cirriculum. After boarding the train on 9th October, 2023 the students arrived to Hubballi next day in the morning. After the train journey, was lined up another two hours of bus journey to get to the their desired destination. The students got to Dandeli in the early afternoon.
A field trip was organized for class I students to Parimal Garden on 6th October, 2023 as a part of their POI unit about ‘Plants’.
The trip's main objective was to make students explore various types of plants they had learnt. The students could identify herbs, shrubs, trees, creepers and climbers by appearance. They were amazed to see the hanging roots of the banyan tree. They also had fun in the play area.
It was an experiential learning for the students.
A trip to Orsang was organized for the students of class - III who embarked on this adventure. On 5th October, 2023 we left Ahmedabad and travelled by bus to Orsang, where we were greeted with welcome music. The first day was full of activities like Zip Line, Flying Fox, Burma Bridge, Hanging Zag, Rope Walk, Tyre Walk and Commando Net. These activities helped students to strengthen their gross motor skills and imbibe the value of teamwork. It also gave them a sense of personal accomplishment. In the evening, it was time for trekking.
An educational trip was organized for the Class - II students on the 5th October, 2023 at Dev’s Camp, Kesharpura near Vadodara, Gujarat.
The primary objective of the trip was to expose students to various activities aimed at improving both individual skills and overall team spirit. The agenda of the trip was to show the children how to be close to nature and lead a life outside of their daily luxury which is now becoming so common.
An educational trip was organized for Class - V to Dwarka from 4th October to 7th October, 2023. It was a trip worth cherishing and one of its kind.
A trip to Udaipur in Rajasthan also known as the "City of Lakes" was organized for Class - IV from 4th to 6th October, 2023. We reached Udaipur and on the same day in the evening, students visited Shilpgram to acknowledge culture, music and performances by various artists. Students were given a chance to purchase jewellery and toys for their family members.
An educational camp for classes XI and XII (ISC), to Dandeli, Karnataka from 2nd to 7th October, 2023 was organized. The purpose was to be one with nature and explore new territory, cuisine, culture and be amidst flora and fauna.
Day 1- The students began their journey and reached Hubli next morning.
Excursions and Tours form an important part of educative experience. Not only do the students discover new places but also learn self-reliance and taking care of themselves. As a part of this experience, an excursion to the famous Jim Corbett National Park was organized from 1st October to 7th October, 2023.

The theme ‘Our Universe’ always raises curiosity among the students to know more facts of the unreachable space.

The toddlers of Nursery went to Kankaria Zoo on 15th September, 2023 to see wildlife, a whole new world of wonder. The animals need not be large or exotic: even common wild creatures such as elephants, deer and birds bring a thrill to children. Seeing wild animals in nature can become a child’s treasured memory. Wild animals have certain qualities that make them mysterious and exciting to children. Wild animals have to find their own food and they eat “weird things” like bugs and worms.
In this ever-evolving environment, the education system has made a significant shift by combining traditional and modern technologies to improve comprehension. Practical learning always improves and has a significant influence on the development of young minds. On 25th August, 2023 students of class IV were exposed to the various biomes and the way each biome generates an environment in which plants can adapt and thrive as a part of Programme of Inquiry Unit “Adaptation of plants”.
