The inaugural Cambridge International Education Master Class was held at JG International School (JGIS), Ahmedabad on Friday, 21^st February, 2025. The event was graced by the distinguished representatives from Cambridge International and JGIS, including Mr. Arpit Sharma, Manager for Central India and Gujarat at Cambridge International, Ms. Shamim Chowdhury, Regional Manager for Recognition and Policy – South Asia at Cambridge International, Dr. Kavita Sharma, Principal at JGIS, Dr. Rekha Anil, Head of Admin and HR and Ms.

On 14^th September, 2024, JG International School hosted TEDxYouth@JGIS, a platform that empowered young voices and inspiring leaders to share ground breaking ideas. The event featured a diverse line up of speakers from various fields, sparking dialogue on innovation, sustainability, and the intersection of technology with human experience.

JG International School organized a valuable session on “Career Counseling” for the students of classes IX to XII on 20^th August, 2024. Recognizing that high school is a pivotal period for making future career decisions, the school aimed to provide guidance and clarity to students about their career paths.

JGMUN 5.0 hosted on 13^th and 14^th of July 2024, was an event that will be embedded in all the delegates’ minds forever, especially JGIS students.

The day finally began with the registration followed by the opening ceremony. Our own principal Dr. Kavita Sharma, was the Chief Guest for the opening ceremony along with Head- Administration & HR, Ms. Rekha Anil, and Manager Parent Relations and Academics, Ms. Rema Nair. The ceremony started with lighting of the lamp followed by a prayer song and prayer dance which was presented by our school choir and our own students (Angel and group) respectively.

In a historic moment of educational excellence, J G International School proudly played host to a daylong prestigious India and South Asia IB PYP Coordinators and Western region Heads meet. This groundbreaking event marked the first-ever convening of its kind within the vibrant landscapes of Gujarat.

The complex human brain is capable of creating a constant flow of divergent ideas. And, creative and well-wrought ideas are the ideal way forward for mankind and that again if well-executed, can pave the way to innumerable and endless possibilities. We, at JG International School, value the skills of selection, evaluation and judgment to whittle down our lists to the most useful and doable ideas. These in turn, entail a series of deliberations, and debates about the true potential of ideas.

TED^X YOUTH@JGIS an independently organized TED event, was a half-day conference which provided a platform to the leading thinkers, speakers and innovators to reach out and inspire the youth with their talks that were idea-focused to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoked conversations that mattered.
