Children of Nursery visited the Fire Station located at Memnagar area on 7^th July, 2023 during school hours.

It was related to their ongoing theme ‘Transportation’. Through this Field Trip, the learning of the children about Fire Engine got enhanced and they had an understanding of a fire engine as a vehicle designed primarily for firefighting operations. The primary purposes of a fire engine include transporting firefighters to an incident scene, providing water with which to fight a fire, and carrying other equipment needed by firefighters. They may also be used for various other uses such as rescues from situations other than fires. They got to know that a typical Fire Truck will carry tools for a wide range of firefighting and rescue tasks, with common equipment including ladders, hoses, a self-contained breathing apparatus, ventilating equipment, first aid kits etc.

The students expressed their gratitude to the team of firefighters present there, and this experience was enriching for them.
