Trips and excursions are an integral part of the curriculum. To create awareness amongst children, the students of Grade II visited the Children Traffic Park on July 3, 2017 as an extended learning of Communication unit. Wherein they learnt the rules and regulation to be followed on the road to become better citizen. Children took part in the interactive session and answered various questions that were asked.
The students of Grade 3 went on an adventurous camp on 5. 02. 2017. The place of visit was Orsang Resort near Vadodara. The children did various adventurous activities like Zip Line, Flying Fox, Swing Jump, Burma Bridge, Hanging Zag, Rope Walk, Tyre Walk and Commando Net. They had a thrilling experience of Night Trekking. They had fun time at Pool Party. They enjoyed other activities like camp fire and team games.
Grade IV went for a camp to Udaipur city for 2 nights and 3 days from 2nd to 4th February, 2017. They were made to stay in ‘The Amargadh resort’. Students benefitted from experiencing the city of lakes and in exploring Udaipur’s architectural and cultural explosion.Students visited the following:
Students of Sr. Kg Marigold and Sr. Kg Jasmine went to Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre on Tuesday 31st January, 2017 as part of their theme ‘The Universe’. They saw Rocket Launcher and a 3D film on space. Audio Visuals on life in space was also shown. Students were delighted to see the exhibition.
Students of Grade II were given hands on experience related to the ‘Adaptation of plants in different habitats’. They were taken on a visit to Parimal Garden on 19th January, 2017. It was amazing to see them observe and describe different plants around them.
An educational trip to Vasad Ravines was organized by the school for the
students of grade II on 2nd and 3rd January’2017. “Ravines Eco Park”, is an
ecological and adventure park for nature lovers. There were exciting games and
challenging activities with full of fun, thrill and adventure in the midst of nature.
There was a pottery session, tractor ride and a magic show too. They enjoyed
many activities in the adventure zone, like flying fox and rope Burma bridge.
