Investiture Ceremony - 2024

JG International School organized the Investiture Ceremony on 5th July, 2024 to bestow the responsibilities on the newly elected members of its Students’ Council for the academic year 2024-25. The ceremony was presided over by the Chairman, Dr. M.P. Chandran, the Principal, Dr. Kavita Sharma, Head- Administration and HR, Dr. Rekha Anil and Manager, Parent Relation and Academics, Ms. Rema Nair.

Inter House English Recitation - 2024

The English Poem Recitation Competition was held on 12th July 2024. The students of classes III to VIII were the participants as well as audience for the competition. For the competition, the participants were divided into two categories-

Group A- Classes III, IV and V

Group B- Classes VI, VII and VIII

Six students were selected from each house- Three students from group A while the other three from group B category. There were twenty four participants in all.

Swadha- The JGIS Fest - 2024

JG International School hosted Swadha-The JGIS Fest on 20th July, 2024, an exhilarating inter-school literary and sports competition that brought together around 500 students from 21 esteemed schools across Ahmedabad. This fest featured a variety of events held in Junior and Senior categories, highlighting the students' creativity and abilities.

Inauguration of Sakura – The Indo-Japanese Nursery School

The JG Campus of Excellence was filled with excitement as JG International School, Ahmedabad, India in collaboration with Keimei Gakuin High School, Kobe, Japan launched their pioneering Indo-Japanese Nursery School named “Sakura” on 25th July, 2024. This event signifies a major milestone in educational partnerships, blending the cultural and educational traditions of India and Japan.

 

Inter House Hindi Elocution - 2024

The Inter house Hindi Elocution Competition for two categories was held on 26th July, 2024. First category comprising students of classes VI and VII. Similarly, second category consisting of students from classes VIII and IX.

The Judges for the competition were Ms. Neeti Bhatt and Ms. Archana Chaurasia.

There were 8 participants in each category and at the end the judges declared the results.

Fire Mock Drill – 2024

JGIS conducted a fire mock drill on 18th July, 2024 with an objective to educate students and staff about emergency evacuation procedures.

 

The drill commenced with the fire alarm sound and keeping in view all the safety measures, the students and staff were successfully evacuated to the designated area on the school grounds.
