Awareness about Energy Conservation Among School Students (Class-VII) – 2024

An informative session on "Awareness about Energy Conservation Among School Students" was conducted by Mr. Vikram Sridhar a renowned story teller from Bangalore for the students of Class VII on 27th November 2024. It was presented as the ‘Greenmosphere for Life’ an initiative by the Consumer Education and Research Centre’.

The primary objective of the session was to create awareness among students about the importance of energy conservation and how to preserve energy resources effectively.

The session was highly interactive and informative. Mr. Vikram conducted the entire session in the form of stories using captivating voice modulation and expressive facial gestures, keeping the students thoroughly entertained and engaged.

Additionally, Ms. Anusha Iyer, Deputy General Manager of Consumer Education and Research Centre guided the students on practical ways to conserve energy in their day-to-day work. She assigned creative tasks related to energy conservation, such as writing poems, drawing pictures, and composing stories, to encourage active participation and creativity.

Overall, the session was well-received, with students finding it both enjoyable and educational. It provided them with relevant experiences and practical insights into the importance of energy conservation, leaving a lasting impact on their minds.
