Lit Fest (Class - IV) - 2025

Storytelling is the art of conveying ideas, emotions and experiences through narratives. This sentiment echoed throughout the 6th edition of the JGIS LIT FEST-2025, a vibrant celebration of literature and creativity hosted by JG International School. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Indira Nityanandam (Principal (Retd), Smt. S.R. Mehta Arts College, Ahmedabad and Director, Bharatiya Bhasha Sanskriti Sansthan, Gujarat Vidyapith), as the Chief Guest of the day.

Lit Fest (Class - III) - 2025

We are excited to continue our journey through the world of literature with another captivating novel. On Tuesday, 4^th February 2025, the students of Class III portrayed an enchanting story “James and the Giant Peach” written by Roald Dahl. Prof. Nutan Kotak, an eminent scholar and Head of the Department of English at the School of Languages, Gujarat University, graced the event as the Chief Guest for the day.

Lit Fest (Class - II) - 2025

The students of Class II brought the timeless tale of “Fantastic Mr. Fox” by Roald Dahl to life with remarkable flair on 5^th February 2025. Through their vibrant performances, they skillfully transformed the words on a page into dynamic expressions of creativity and imagination, allowing the essence of the story to come alive in ways that were both educational and profoundly meaningful.

Lit Fest (Class - I) - 2025

On the 4^th day of the JGIS Fest, Class I students performed The Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde on 6^th February 2025. With Dr. Falguni Vasavada, Professor at MICA, as the Chief Guest, the students captivated the audience by bringing the novel to life through expressive acting, dynamic body language and confident narration. Their energetic performance, enhanced by dancers, left a lasting impression on all present, showcasing their remarkable talent and creativity.

Lit Fest (Class - V) - 2025

The talented Class V students delivered another unforgettable day of literary brilliance with a heartwarming portrayal of “Charlotte’s Web” story by E.B. White on the 7^th February, 2025. The esteemed Ms. Raksha Bharadia, an author, editor, columnist and speaker, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, adding to the significance of the day.

Reliving the Magic of Shakespeare!

On 10^th February 2025, the talented students of Class VI captivated the audience into the wondrous world of Shakespeare, where every word sparkled with creativity and every story came alive in the most unforgettable way.

The occasion was graced by the distinguished Ms. Elizabeth Verghese, Former Deputy General Manager at RBI, as the Chief Guest.

A celebration of literature, culture and creativity!

On the 11th February, 2025, the seventh day of the JGIS Lit Fest came alive with a beautiful and evocative stage performance, bringing to life the timeless works of “The Very Best of Rabindranath Tagore” and “The Best of O. Henry”. The Class VII students delivered remarkable performances, infusing these iconic literary pieces with vibrancy, emotion and creativity.

A Journey through Wonder and Treasure Island

On the 12^th February, 2025, the eighth day of the JGIS Lit Fest, the talented young performers of Class VIII presented a captivating dual performance that left the audience spellbound. The first play, Wonder by R.J. Palacio, beautifully portrayed the poignant journey of an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face. Through their heartfelt expressions and actions, the students skillfully evoked deep emotions, emphasizing the themes of kindness, empathy and acceptance.
