Teachers' Day - 2022

Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 5th September, 2022. The Principal, Dr. Kavita Sharma, Manager- Administration & HR, Ms. Rekha Anil and Manager - Parent Relations & Academics, Ms. Rema Nair attended the event. Students of classes V to XII also witnessed the programme.

Independence Day - 2022

The Independence Day of India  is celebrated religiously throughout the country on the 15th  of August every year. It holds tremendous ground in the list of national days since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance from the clutches of British colonialism of more than 200 years. It was on 15 th  August, 1947, that India was declared independent from British colonialism, and the reins of control were handed over to the leaders of the country.

"Har Ghar Tiranga" Celebration - 2022

The 75th anniversary of India's independence will be celebrated this year on 15th August, 2022 to inspire pride and patriotism among all Indian citizens and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag. Our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has initiated a number of campaigns, including "Har Ghar Tiranga," to celebrate and remember the history of India's progress under the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

World Yoga Day - 2022

Yoga is said to have originated in India and speculated to date back to pre-Vedic Indian traditions. It is mentioned in the Rigveda, but most likely developed between the fifth and sixth centuries BC. The actual Sanskrit word, ‘Yog’, when broken down, means ‘to control’ or ‘to unite’. The word has also been translated to mean ‘joining’, ‘uniting’ or ‘union’. The union is established between the self and the spirit. 

School Birthday - 2022

JG International School celebrated the completion of 18 years since its inception on 21st June, 2022. The Chairman Dr. M. P. Chandran partook in the celebration organized in the school auditorium. The Principal Dr.Kavita Sharma, the Manager Administration and HR, Ms.Rekha Anil, the Manager Parent Relations, Ms.Rema Nair, students of Class XII and their class teachers were the audience.

Republic Day - 2022

Our nation’s 73rd Republic Day was celebrated at JGIS, on 26th January, 2022 with immense patriotic fervour as is always the custom. The dignitaries for the event were the Chairman, Dr. M.P.Chandran, the Secretary, Mr.Joy Jose, the Treasurer, Mr.K.L.N Sastry, the Secretary ASIA, Mr.V.D.Prabhakaran, other Trustees, Members of the Managing Committee, the Principals and Staff Members of our extended family, other dignitaries and guests.

Republic Day - 2021

The Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January, 2021. The dignitaries for the event were Chairman, ACT, Mr. K Mohanlal, Executive Director Dr. M. P. Chandran, other trustees and members of the Managing Committee, the Principals of various schools and colleges, other dignitaries, the Staff and parents.

71st Republic Day - 2020

On the auspicious morning of 26th January, 2020 JG International School celebrated the 71st Republic Day in the school premises. It was a matter of great pride for all of us. The programme began with the welcoming of the esteemed guests followed by the flag hoisting. The chairman gave his blessings on this special occasion.

School Garba - 2019

JG International School celebrated Navratri festival by organizing – ‘Shubh Navratri’ Garba night on 5th October, 2019. The auspicious event began with offering prayers to Goddess Shakti and performing Aarti by our Honourable chairman ,  Shri. John Geevargese and Executive Director Mr. M.P.Chandran.  The trustees and other managing committee members too graced the occasion. Our Chairman ,  Shri. John Geevargese initiated a thought of minimizing the use of plastic and what steps school is taking towards this initiative.

Pre-Primary Fancy Dress Show - 2019

Professionals and Community Helpers are people that directly impact the lives of others. They deliver a service that makes our lives easier. It is important for all of us to know the ways in which the Professionals work. Many Professionals have easily identifiable work attire or clothes. This makes it easy to know their role in the community and is helpful if you need to approach them for help.

Onam Celebration - 2019

Onam celebration was organized on 9th September, 2019. We had our Executive Director, Mr M.P Chandran  and  Ms.Chandrika Chandran as our special guest for the event. A cultural programme was organised  related to the theme and fervour of  Onam- the harvest festival of  Kerala. Students and teachers performed some excellent dances and regaled the audience.
