Performance by Japanese Artists - 2018

JG International School has experienced a Heart Throbbing performance by the Japanese artists from Shinki-A Musical Unit for peace and happiness. The two artist namely Hideshi Takatani San, a blues guitarist for Japanese music and Sayaka Ogawa San, a Japanese singer, pianist and song writer has melted every hearts with their touch of western blues and Jazz in their contemporary fusion. They also gave the feel of Indian music by singing the song “Raghupati raghav..” in their Japanese style.

Farewell Party for Grade XII - 2018

J G International School organized Farewell Party on April 7, 2018 where students of XI Grade bid farewell to the outgoing students of XII Grade with great enthusiasm. Students of XI Grade filled the air with vibrant colours by performing on various songs and dances. Some exciting games were also arranged for the students and were enjoyed by all. Different tags were awarded to the students.

Graduation Ceremony of Grade XII - 2018

JGIS organized Graduation Ceremony for batch 2017-18 on 7th April, 2018. It’s a solemn ritual that marks the beginning of a young adult’s foray into the real world wherein he/she dons the mantle of myriad roles and responsibilities that pave the way to become a global citizen. The ceremony began with the marching of the coordinators followed by the graduating batch of students, lighting of the lamp, JG anthem and a prayer song. It then proceeded with the felicitation of the students, the Executive Director’s speech and the Chairman’s blessings.

Graduation Ceremony of Sr. KG - 2018

All the children are blessed with talents ad are worth congratulating, and this is what this day of Graduation is all about. The Graduation Ceremony of Sr. KG was held on Tuesday 20/03/2018 at 10.30 am. 54 students of batch 2017-18 were graduated from Pre Primary to Primary Level. Graduation Certificates were give out to children by the Chief Guests one by one. The Chief Guest for the event were our very own Head boy-Dhanush Tolia, Head Girl Aayushi Patel and Sports Captain Divyesh  Karelia.

Sports Festival (Nursery-II) - 2018

Sports Day for Pre-primary to class II was held on Saturday the 17th of February 2018 in the school grounds. All the races were designed according to the theme “At The Circus”. The event began with a colourful clown dance. Various elements of a circus – juggling, acrobatics, gymnastics added variety to the races displaying co-ordination and gross motor skills of the students. Students of class III culminated their novel “ Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ” by putting up a sale of chocolates for parents and students.

JGIS LIT FEST - 2018

J G international school hosted its first Literary week from [05/02/18 – 09/02/18]. Students from classes I – VI enthralled the audience by bringing to life the classics that they had read during the year-“The Cat in the Hat” by class I, “The Jungle Book by class II, The Wizard of Oz by class IV, “Great Expectations” by class V, “ Bond with Nature” by class VI. The excitement of the students grew each day when they were quizzed on “Charlie and the Chocolate factory ” read by class III.

Blessing Ceremony - 2018

The blessing ceremony was conducted on 29th January, 2018 for the students appearing for the Board Examinations 2018. The ceremony began with the recital of a Sanskrit shlok, followed by the rendition of a prayer song  by the school choir to invoke  the blessings of God. The teachers teaching these classes blessed the students on this auspicious occasion and also gave them valuable guidance for success in examination.  Our Principal    Ms.

Republic Day Celebration - 2018

69th Republic Day was celebrated in JGIS premises on 26th January, 2018. The programme began with welcoming the guest viz. honourable Chairman, Shri John Geevargese, President ASIA,  Mr. K.L.N. Sastri, Secretary, Mr. K.P.M Nair, Trustee and Executive Director Mr. M. P.Chandran, other trustees, members of managing committee followed by flag hoisting. The cultural program began with a patriotic song by schools ‘choir students followed by two dance performances as a beautiful expression and dedication to our nation.

JG Model United Nations Closing Ceremony - 2018

JGIS organized the Closing Ceremony of JG Model United Nations Conference in the school auditorium on 21st January, 2018. After a short thank you speech by the Principal of the host school, Ms. Kavita Sharma, the anchor invited on stage, the Executive Board members of the five simulated committees for the much-awaited moment – the Award Ceremony. They thanked the school for organizing such an event of this magnitude and congratulated the organizing committee for successfully hosting MUN.

JG Model United Nations Conference:Opening Ceremony - 2018

‘Freedom is hammered out on the anvil of discussion, dissent and debate’ -Hubert Humphrey. We at JGIS believe in inculcating a strong set of skills in research, public speaking and team work. We aim to transform our learners into concerned global citizens who make a significant change in the society. With this aim in mind, JGIS decided to host its first edition of JG Model United Nations Conference. The event is inaugurated with a gathering of over 250 delegates on 20th and 21st January, 2018.

Christmas Celebration

Christmas was celebrated in a joyful way at JGIS on 20th December 2017. The portico was decorated with Christmas tree and crib.   It was organized in the Auditorium started with the school prayer followed by the songs by the students then the teachers sung the choir song wishing them happy Christmas and the program ended with distribution of toffees by the Santa Claus. The children were very happy after attending the Christmas celebrations.   

Navratri Celebration - 2017

The Annual Garba of JGIS was held on 23rd October 2017. The event began with offering prayers to the Diety and performing  Aarti by our Honourable chairman Shri John Gee Vergheese and Executive Director Mr. M. P. Chandran.  Col. Rahul Sharma, Director ASIA Charitable Trust, other trustees too graced the occasion. The event saw various performances  by students and staff members, giving various glimpses of traditional as well as modern form of garba.
