Field Trip/Tour/Picnic

The students of classes VII and VIII embarked on an enlightening educational field trip to the Highest Judicial Authority of Gujarat, the Honorable High Court of Gujarat in Ahmedabad on 3^rd and 4^th February, 2026 respectively. The visit offered a unique opportunity to witness live court proceedings, interact with judicial personnel, and gain insights into the functioning of India's legal framework. Students were thrilled by the immersive experience, which bridged classroom lessons on civics, law, and governance with practical observation.

The students of Nursery visited the Science City Aquatic Gallery on 29^th January, 2026, as part of their theme based learning. The visit was planned to provide children with real-life exposure and experiential learning beyond the classroom environment.

As part of the educational field trip under the theme Incredible India, students visited the Hutheesing Jain Temple and the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial on 28^th January, 2026. The visit to Hutheesing Jain Temple helped students admire India’s rich architectural heritage and intricate carvings. Students observed the calm and serene environment of the temple and learned the importance of respect, silence, and spiritual harmony.

The Senior KG students undertook an educational visit to Samruddh Dairy, Ahmedabad on 27th January, 2026 with the objective to understand the journey of milk from the first stage to the store shelves. The visit provided students with firsthand exposure to the various stages of milk production, including collection, testing, processing and packaging, all carried out in a hygienic and safe environment.

On 28^th November 2025, the students of IBDP I and II from JG International School participated in a meaningful CAS experiential trip to Polo Forest. The visit provided a balanced platform for students to engage with all three CAS strands—Creativity, Activity and Service—while achieving all seven CAS learning outcomes.

The students of Class V embarked on an exciting experiential learning visit to the Astronomy and Space Science Gallery at Science City, Ahmedabad, on 28th November 2025, as part of their science curriculum on “Eclipses”. The trip offered a wonderful opportunity to move beyond textbooks and witness scientific concepts come alive.

The students of Class IV visited Science City, Ahmedabad, on 27^th November, 2025, as part of the unit, “Adaptation of Plants.” The trip enhanced classroom learning by allowing students to observe real examples of how plants survive in different habitats—such as desert plants with thick stems, aquatic plants with floating leaves and various climbers and creepers.

Tiny explorers, discovering the world of posts and parcels

As part of their educational curriculum, the students of Class III enjoyed a wonderful and informative visit to the Navrangpura Post Office, Ahmedabad, on 26^th November, 2025. The visit encouraged them to appreciate the value of communication beyond phones and screens.

As a part of the academic unit “Kinds of Animals and Their Adaptations”, the students of Class II embarked on an exciting and educational field trip to Kankaria Zoo on 25^th November, 2025.

The young explorers observed a variety of animals, deepening their understanding of habitats and adaptations while enjoying a fun-filled learning experience. The guided walk encouraged curiosity, observation and teamwork among the children.

The students of Class I had a delightful and enriching learning experience during their educational field trip to Parimal Garden, Ahmedabad on 24th November, 2025. The young learners explored diverse plants, soaked in the beauty of nature and strengthened their understanding of environmental care through hands-on activities and nature walks.

It was a refreshing day filled with curiosity, teamwork and real-world learning.

The Jr. KG students embarked on an exciting educational field trip to the Science City Aquatic Gallery on 23^rd September 2025, eager to explore the wonders of marine life. The children began their journey with great curiosity and excitement.

On 23^rd September, 2025 the Nursery students visited on a fun-filled field trip to Sundarvan Nature Park, eager to explore and learn about the wonders of nature. The children had the opportunity to see a variety of birds and animals, including ducks, turkeys, fish and tortoises. They particularly enjoyed watching the ducks swim and listening to the cheerful chirping of different birds.

The students of Sr. KG went on an educational field trip to the Science City -Astronomy, Space and Science Gallery on 23^rd September, 2025.  The children were filled with excitement and curiosity, as they set out on this learning journey.

The students explored fascinating exhibits on planets, satellites and rockets, gaining valuable insights into the solar system and outer space. The interactive displays were designed in a child-friendly manner, making it easier for them to understand complex concepts about the Universe.

Children of Sr.KG visited the Samruddh Dairy on 9^th January, 2024.

The purpose of visiting a dairy was to give the students an understanding of the process milk goes through before reaching homes. The process of testing, pasteurization, and its importance to the stage of bottling was made well understood by officials at Samruddh Dairy. Children saw the machinery used for various processes. They also saw how butter was made and the packaging of milk and curd. This was a very informative experience.

An interesting field trip was organized for the students of Class-I as a part of their POI unit ‘Animals’ on 5^th January, 2024.

The main objective was to have live experience of watching different types of animals and understand their characteristics. Students showed a great enthusiasm to observe various animals. Students could see animals in well protected enclosures whereas some were in an open area. Students were able to identify various types of animals according to their types.
