Visit to Samruddh Dairy (Class- Sr.KG) - 2026
The Senior KG students undertook an educational visit to Samruddh Dairy, Ahmedabad on 27th January, 2026 with the objective to understand the journey of milk from the first stage to the store shelves. The visit provided students with firsthand exposure to the various stages of milk production, including collection, testing, processing and packaging, all carried out in a hygienic and safe environment.
During the visit, the students observed the step-by-step process of milk handling, which strengthened their observation and listening skills. They were also introduced to the process of making butter from milk cream and the preparation of ghee from butter. This practical exposure helped reinforce concepts taught in the classroom.
The visit contributed to the development of students’ awareness regarding hygiene, cleanliness and quality control in food production. It also enriched their vocabulary related to dairy products and processing techniques. Additionally, the experience promoted social skills such as following instructions, cooperation and disciplined group behavior.
Overall, the educational visit proved to be a valuable learning experience, understanding and real-life application of knowledge.
