Election is an organized process through which the heads of a democratic country are elected. At JGIS, like last year this year also we have elected our Head Boy and Head Girl. We conducted a mock election. The purpose of it was to give the children a ‘Hands on” experience on the conduction of election. Election was on 27th June in the auditorium. Four booths were made. Each booth has a laptop and a technician from the school. Names and the symbols were appeared on the screen. The voters had to click twice, one for the Head Boy and the other Head Girl. Finally the result was announced by the Principal. The entire process took 1 hour 20 minutes to complete.
