A Journey through Wonder and Treasure Island

On the 12th February, 2025, the eighth day of the JGIS Lit Fest, the talented young performers of Class VIII presented a captivating dual performance that left the audience spellbound. The first play, Wonder by R.J. Palacio, beautifully portrayed the poignant journey of an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face. In the second performance, the adventurous spirit of Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson came alive with energy and excitement. The students brought to life the thrilling tale of pirates, hidden treasures and daring escapades, infusing the performance with vibrant drama.

Both plays resonated deeply with the audience, evoking reflection on bravery, compassion, and the power of empathy. The day’s special guest was our esteemed Chairman, Dr. M P Chandran, whose presence added to the significance of the event as he witnessed the exceptional performances unfolds.
