JG International School joyfully celebrated its 20^th birthday on Friday, 21^st June, 2024. The festivities commenced with ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the guiding light of knowledge. This was followed by rendition of JG Anthem filling the atmosphere with pride and unity. The school choir further elevated the spirits with a melodious song followed by a graceful dance by the students.

Recognizing the significance of regular attendance, JGIS took the opportunity to appreciate and honour the students who achieved 100% attendance.

Another highlight of the event was recognition of students who performed admirably in academics. They were felicitated for their outstanding results, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.

Rolling trophies were given to the Houses in various categories. The Co-curricular Activity Cup was bagged by Chandrashekhar House and the Academic trophy was claimed by Amartya Sen House. Chandrashekhar House emerged victorious in the Sports Cup. The Games cup was won by Rabindranath Tagore House. The Cock House Trophy was awarded to Chandrashekhar House.

Following the prize distribution, all the class toppers took a pledge and rendered a speech that underscored their commitment to uphold the values and principles of life. They lit diyas, symbolizing enlightenment, and took a vow to embrace these principles. The Chairman, Dr. M P Chandran blessed the students and staff with his inspirational words motivating them to reach new heights.

The whole event was witnessed by the students of Pre-Primary to Class IV live through Google Meet, the audience for the celebration were the students of classes V to XII. The school management congratulated the staff members for successfully completing two decades in this institution. The event concluded with the ceremonial cake cutting by the dignitaries followed by the rendition of National Anthem.

The 20^th birthday of JGIS was a memorable and meaningful occasion, celebrating achievements and inspiring the entire school community to strive for excellence.
