‘True teachers are those who help us think for ourselves’

It was an auspicious day for the students of  JGIS to celebrate Teachers’ Day which marks the birth of the great teacher, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishan. It began with a ‘thank you note’ delivered by a student representative, marking the importance of teachers. Teachers’ Day celebration began with the students wishing their teachers and seeking their blessings to excel in their lives. Cultural programs were organized by the students who had put in all their hard work to make the show a grand success. Few selected students were in the role of teachers delivering lectures in their assigned classes and they felt very happy being in the shoes of their teachers for a day. The best student-teachers were appreciated by the Principal. The Principal put more emphasis on moral and ethical values, which she expected the students to follow and thanked them for organizing such a wonderful program.
