JGIS hosted the annual ‘Poems Out Loud’ competition on Friday, 15^th July, 2022 where twenty-six reputed schools participated. Students from Class IV to IX participated for winning prices under different categories: The First, Second and Third Prices under individual category, and two special awards, one for reciting ‘The Best Self-composed Poem’ and the other for ‘The Best Vocal Quality’.

The Judges for the event were experienced and dynamic professionals from various fields. Ms. Anushika Mehta specialises in Research & Strategy and is also a Corporate Trainer. Ms. Gargi Tripathi is a Manager for Global Regulatory Compliance at HSBC Bank. Ms. Supriya Shah is an academician with a work experience spanning over two decades. Ms. Supriya Pal is an architect, an alumnus of CEPT, Ahmedabad and she is an Associate Professor at Nirma University. And Ms. Ushma Khare is the Programme Lead for Sanchetna, an NGO and she trains adolescent girls in non-violent communication and Art Therapy.

It was an exhilarating experience for the students, and more so for the winners. The Principal, Dr. Kavitha Sharma, felicitated the Judges with mementoes.
