Visit to Fire Station, Memnagar - 2018
Children of Nursery visited the Fire Station located at Memnagar area on Friday 03/08/2018 during school hours.
It was related to their ongoing theme ‘Transportation’ Children understood better that, a fire engine is a vehicle designed primarily for firefighting operations. The primary purposes of a fire engine include transporting firefighters to an incident scene, providing water with which to fight a fire, and carrying other equipment needed by firefighters. They may also be used for various other uses such as rescues from situations other than fires. They saw that a typical Fire Truck will carry tools for a wide range of firefighting and rescue tasks, with common equipment including ladders, hoses, a self-contained breathing apparatus, ventilating equipment, first aid kits etc.
Children understood this vehicle and is purpose better through this visit. They also gave a Thank You card to the authorities,that was prepared by a Sr.KG child.
The children were accompanied by teachers and maids.
