Lit Fest (Class-III) - 2024
On 9th February, 2024, the fifth day of the JGIS LIT FEST the students of Class-III portrayed an enchanting story ‘James and the Giant Peach’ written by Roald Dahl. Ms. Suchitra Balasubrahmanyan, an eminent Professor at Institute of Design, Nirma University was the Chief Guest for the Fest.
The story was a fantasy in which a boy named James loses his parents and his aunts are mean to him, but he still desires to make friends. On the journey, James finds new friends who help him understand the importance of accepting differences and working together to solve problems.
The students brought the novel characters to life. They demonstrated their confidence in speaking, acting, dancing, coordinating and managing stage environments. The characters were fully involved in the play and they performed their roles brilliantly.
