Grand Parents' Day Celebration of Pre-Primary - 2017
Grandparents are a delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories and love. To show the love and respect towards the grandparents, The Pre Primary celebrated Gandparents’ Day on 19/09/2017 in the school auditorium. Children welcomed the grandparents with tikka on their forehead and performed their aarti. Principal Ma’am Ms. Kavita Sharma welcomed them. Urva of Sr. KG also welcomed the grandparents on behalf of all the children. A few children of Jr. KG and Sr. KG sang a lovely song ‘Dadi Meri Bholi Bhali…’ Teachers started the programme with a lovely skit and a traditional dance, followed with a lori, helping a crying child fall asleep. Thereafter, various individual and couple games were played and all the grandparents truly enjoyed. Towards the end of the programme, Grandparents went to their grand child’s class and did an art and craft activity along with them. Children made a lotus from paper and handed over to the Grandparents, a take away prepared by themselves as a remembrance of the event. They left after refreshments. The efforts of the school for hosting such an event was appreciated by all present.
