An awareness session was conducted by AMC officials on 28^th July, 2023 about Malaria which was widespread in the city. The session was attended by students of class X. The officials explained about the breeding places of mosquitoes, how to monitor their surroundings to identify the breeding places and precautions to be taken to avoid building of these breeding places. They also suggested the ways to prevent mosquito bites especially for new born and pregnant women. At the end of the session, students were shown samples of larval stage of mosquito and Gambusia fish which eat them. It was an enlightening session for the students.
