Visit to Andh Apang Kalyan Kendra (Class – II) - 2026
As part of the Money Unit, the students of Class - II learned the value of hard-earned money by performing simple chores at home. They then used their savings to organise a Chaat Sale, gaining firsthand experience in earning, saving and responsible spending.
In alignment with Sustainable Development Goal – “No Hunger”, the students used the collected funds for a charitable cause by providing meals to those in needs. To further reinforce the values of kindness, sharing and social responsibility, the students visited Andh Apang Kalyan Kendra on 8th January 2026.
A total of 88 students of Class II participated in this meaningful initiative. During the visit, the students donated food packets to the residents of the centre, experiencing the joy of giving and understanding the importance of compassion and generosity. The visit was also educational, as the students were shown various rooms of the centre and introduced to the Braille system, helping them understand how visually challenged individuals read and write. This interaction sensitized the students towards the challenges faced by others and encouraged empathy and respect.
