Inauguration of Sakura – The Indo-Japanese Nursery School

The JG Campus of Excellence was filled with excitement as JG International School, Ahmedabad, India in collaboration with Keimei Gakuin High School, Kobe, Japan launched their pioneering Indo-Japanese Nursery School named “Sakura” on 25th July, 2024. This event signifies a major milestone in educational partnerships, blending the cultural and educational traditions of India and Japan.

 

The event commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony symbolizing the beginning of this new venture, accompanied by the school anthems of both nations. Dr. Kavita Sharma, the respected Principal of JGIS, warmly welcomed everyone, highlighting the importance of this collaboration and expressing enthusiasm for the journey ahead.

 

The esteemed Mr. Ibusuki Chikara, Principal of Keimei Gakuin High School expressed appreciation for the opportunity to establish this academic alliance and conveyed optimistic expectations for its future success.

 

Adding a vibrant touch to the event, students performed captivating dances that showcased the rich traditions and cultures of India and Japan. This partnership not only strengthens the bonds between India and Japan but also embodies their shared vision of providing world-class education for young learners. The Nursery Class was inaugurated by the Principal of KGHS, marking the initial stride towards achieving milestone.

 

The ceremony concluded on a high note with the resonant chords of the National Anthem, signifying the dawn of a new era in educational excellence and cross-cultural learning in Ahmedabad.
