Carnival - 2017
Expressions- A carnival of Creations was a Feast to everyone’s Eye. It was the Open House of Holding Section and Activity Display of classes V to VIII. The show was inaugurated by the Parent who was our first guest. JGIS School was decorated all over which stunned every visitor. Students of Holding section who were from Senior KG to Classes IV performed various activities based on the concepts related to all the subjects included in their curriculum. The Robotics, Mathemagica and Scientific principles were also demonstrated through experiments very well by our students of classes V to VIII.
Presentation on various scientific & technological advancement happening all over the world was done by students of IX & XI in the Auditorium.The first basement area showcased all the Activities that the students of classes V to VIII had learnt this year. Activities such as Electronics, Art & Craft, Embroidery, Music, Dance, Aerobics, Calligraphy, DO It Yourself etc were all presented very well. Students demonstrated and explained everything they had learnt and practiced. Parents and visitors were full of appreciation.
The quadrangle area was the most attractive place as the students demonstrated their culinary skills which they had learnt in their Cookery Activity. The Food Court attracted everyone with the mouthwatering Pani Puri, Orange Cooler and Brownie with Ice Cream. Students of IBDP, AS & A Level had also put up food stalls as a part of their CAS Activity. Students of Skating and Karate kept the parents spell bound as they demonstrated each item.
We had arranged Blood Donation Camp - As a part of service to society – IBDP in association with Civil Hospital.
