Session on Safety and First – Aid (Class – III) – 2025

As a part of the “Safety and First Aid” unit, an engaging and informative session was organized for the students of Class - III on 22nd April, 2025, aimed to teach basic first aid skills and act swiftly during emergencies. The session was conducted by Dr. Deepa Gajjar, a pediatric from Balmukund Children Hospital and an experienced health educator.

Dr. Gajjar began the session with a brief introduction to the concept of first aid, explaining its importance in daily life. She then guided students to handle common minor injuries such as cuts, nosebleeds, burns and insect bites through an informative PowerPoint presentation. A key focus of the session was teaching children the importance of staying calm during emergencies and encouraging them to seek help from a nearby adult when needed. Hands-on demonstrations gave students a chance to observe and understand first aid techniques more effectively.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A round, allowing students to clarify doubts and revisit the key takeaways.

Overall, the first aid session was a success. It not only educated the young students about how to react in case of minor injuries but also instilled in them a sense of responsibility and care for others.
