Students of JG International school celebrated ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ with great pomp and festivity on 18th September, 2023. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav. A melodious song was sung in group praising the existence of Lord Ganesha. The students performed an obeisance dance on the most exuberant music and in colourful attire. The whole atmosphere was charged with festivity. The students were explained about the significance of the festival and emphasised on eco-friendly ways of celebrating the festival. The programme ended with chants of ‘Ganapathi Bappa Moriya- Agle Baras tu Jaldi Aa’ which echoed all around the auditorium.
