This year JGIS has got its Council members through selection procedure. On 20^th June, nomination forms were given to the aspirants. They were to submit their duly filled forms on the 22^nd. On that day itself, scrutiny was done and the finalists were selected by the election committee.

Next step was the interviewing round which was conducted by the three distinguished personalities who belong to different fields and most importantly they are not involved in the direct teaching-learning process of the school. Each candidate was interviewed for more than 10 minutes. 

On the 24^th June, result was declared by the Principal, Dr. Kavita Sharma. The position of the Head Girl was secured by Prisha Chandaria. Hrithik Patel bagged the position of the Head Boy and Heet Patel was selected as the Sports Captain. Rest of the contestants became the Council Members.
