The Inter-House English Recitation Poem Competition was held on 11^th July, 2025 at JG International School. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Classes III to VIII, who also formed the audience, creating an engaging and encouraging atmosphere.

The participants were divided into two categories, Category A (Classes III – V) and Category B (Classes VI – VIII). Each house nominated six participants—three from each category.

The event was judged by Ms. Neelam Rathi and Ms. Shilpa Thakkar, who brought their valuable expertise to the competition. The participants were evaluated on the basis of Selection of the poem, Pronunciation, Memory and confidence, Voice modulation and articulation, Clarity and Overall impression.

All four houses participated with great enthusiasm and the young performers captivated the audience with their outstanding performances.

1. First Position - Yash Harisingani (V-Nehru) Chandrashekar House
2. Second Position - Riaansha Gajjar (IV-Emerald) Chandrashekar House
3. Third Position - Panthi Patel (V-Tilak) Rabindranath Tagore House

Category B (Classes VI – XII)

1. First Position - Devdutta Bhattacharya (VIII-Vivekanand) Amartya Sen House
2. Second Position - Aanya Shah (VI-Bhagat Singh) Amartya Sen House
3. Third Position - Rianna Darji (VII-Ashoka) Amartya Sen House

The event concluded with insightful feedback from the judges, who appreciated the participants’ sincere efforts, followed by the National Anthem.
