JG International School celebrated Navratri festival by organizing Garba night on 21^st October, 2023. The enthralling event began by offering prayers to the Goddess Shakti followed by a brief introduction about the significance of the festival ‘Navratri’. The event proceeded and Aarti was performed by our Honorable chairman, Dr. M P Chandran, the trustees, managing committee members and other dignitaries. Students, teachers, parents and support staff of JGIS dressed in traditional attire, swayed to the rhythmic beats of the music, creating an electric atmosphere filled with joy and energy. The evaluation for the award of Best performance (Male/Female) & Best Costume (Male/Female) was done by our respective juries who were the students of JG College of Performing Arts. The prizes were given for holding section, junior section and senior section students as well as for parents, alumni and teachers. There was also an award for ‘Best Couple’. The event was anchored by Naisha Patel of class X and Dhruv Patel of AS Level.
