Pottery Making Activity – 2024

Pottery making is a fantastic activity for school children, as it nurtures creativity and develops hand-eye coordination. On 25th September, 2024 we had conducted a pottery making activity, wherein a potter was arranged in the school premises to give a live demonstration on using the potter’s wheel. This hands-on experience allowed the children to try their hand at making small pots and diyas, promoting a deeper understanding of the art form and its historical significance.

The excitement was profound as students learned the importance and various uses of pottery, gaining insights into early human life. With their hands in the clay and the wheel spinning, they discovered the joy of crafting functional pottery pieces.

This experience was not only fun-filled but also preserves cultural heritage and encourages practical skills of the students.
