One Act Play - 2024
In a remarkable fusion of education and theatre, the young actors of JG International School from classes VIII to XII showcased their impressive talents by bringing to life two of William Shakespeare’s timeless classics—Julius Caesar and The Merchant of Venice on 2nd September, 2024. These special performances are a part of the English Literature curriculum, aimed to deepen the students' literary engagement through the immersive experience of live performance.
The JG Auditorium provided a fitting backdrop for this vibrant theatrical experience, offering students a stage to demonstrate their dedication and creativity. Considering, Shakespeare’s works can often be an abstract challenge, but through performance, students and audience alike are given a unique opportunity to explore and appreciate the nuances of his plays.
The special performances were a testament to the exceptional commitment of both our talented students and their dedicated teachers.
