Onam was celebrated in JGIS on 1^st September 2017. The portico was decorated with colourful flowers.  The staff and students presented a special programme highlighting the culture and tradition of Kerala in the form of a dance drama which passed on the message of national integration and cultural diversity to the audience. The traditional Kaikottokkali, vallamkali, pulikali were also the part of the programme. Principal and other staff members too witnessed the programme. Executive Director Mr. M.P. Chandran greeted the staff and students. The school gave a festive look with the beautiful Pookkalams, Torans and women staff in the traditional attire of Kerala saree respectively.
