Lit Fest (Class- V) - 2026
At JG International School, stories took centre stage as the 7th Edition of JGIS LitFest 2026 unfolded, celebrating the power of storytelling to express ideas, emotions and experiences.
On the inaugural day, 9th February 2026, the students of Class V brought storytelling to life through a captivating dramatic presentation inspired by Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J. K. Rowling. Their spirited performances, expressive acting and youthful enthusiasm beautifully conveyed themes of courage, friendship and kindness. The event was honoured by the gracious presence of Ms. Bhakti Shah, a writer, mentor and healer, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Parents of Class V were invited to witness the programme, adding warmth and significance to the celebration. The skit not only reflected the magical essence of J. K. Rowling’s writing but also acknowledged the pivotal role of teachers in nurturing and guiding young minds.
Each student displayed remarkable confidence and dedication, immersing themselves fully in their roles. The narrators enhanced the performance with clear, confident, and engaging narration, ensuring a seamless storytelling experience.
Day One of LitFest 7.0 stood as a shining example of the students’ creativity, teamwork and commitment, leaving a lasting impression on the audience and reaffirming the school’s dedication to nurturing a love for literature.
