Lit Fest (Class- I) - 2026
On 19th February, 2026, marking the culmination of the JGIS Fest, the students of Class I staged a graceful and heartfelt rendition of “The Selfish Giant” by Oscar Wilde. The performance reflected thoughtful preparation and a deep understanding of the story’s emotional core. Through expressive gestures, confident dialogue delivery, and coordinated stage movements, the young actors transformed the classic tale into a compelling theatrical experience.
The occasion was honoured by the presence of Ms. Preeti Sharma, Senior Educationist, who attended as the Chief Guest. Her encouraging presence added dignity and warmth to the celebration.
The narrators played a pivotal role in the success of the production, guiding the audience smoothly through the narrative with clarity, articulation, and poise. Their assured delivery, combined with the spirited performances of the cast and the lively inclusion of dance sequences, created an atmosphere of joy and engagement.
The presentation stood as a testament to the students’ creativity, teamwork, and dedication. Beyond its artistic excellence, the play conveyed enduring lessons of empathy, generosity, and transformation—reinforcing the importance of kindness and compassion in everyday life.
