The 75^th anniversary of India's independence will be celebrated this year on 15^th August, 2022 to inspire pride and patriotism among all Indian citizens and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag. Our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has initiated a number of campaigns, including "Har Ghar Tiranga," to celebrate and remember the history of India's progress under the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. "Har Ghar Tiranga" is a campaign to encourage people to bring the ‘Tiranga’ home and to hoist it to mark the 75^th year of India’s independence. Thus, the gesture becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the ‘Tiranga’ but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building.

Keeping this spirit high, JGIS had organized a three-day event from 2^nd August to 4^th August, 2022 to ignite the patriotic feeling among the students through various activities planned by the school. As a part of this initiative, students were made to write an essay on ‘The Importance of National Flag’, paint the National Flag and were motivated to sing patriotic songs.
