Expressions - A Carnival of Creations , 2019
Expressions- a carnival of creations was a genuine and enriching journey of experimenting, learning and experiencing various subjects from multiple angles and approaches for students from the Kindergarten to grade XII, across all the Boards.
The exhibition was organized on 26th January,2019 and was inaugurated by our Chairman, Shri John Geevargese, in the presence of other esteemed guests - the Executive Director, Trustees, the Principal of JG School of Performing Arts, The Principal, Vice Principal, Coordinators of ASIA school and other dignitaries and parents.
Innovative ideas and latest breakthroughs in the field of science and technology like Pacemakers for the Brain, Robot exoskeleton, future modes of transportation, 3 D printing, Fusion Reactors, Nuclear Waste Management, Futuristic Hotel Suite, Fighting Multiple Sclerosis were the star attractions, just to name a few.
The students of IBDP, in association with the Civil Hospital, arranged for a Blood Donation Camp as a part of their CAS activity and collected around 20 bottles of blood.
Students also displayed their interests in culinary skills, handicrafts, sustainable living, Karate, Yoga, Orchestra, Calligraphy, dance, aerobics, skating, clay modeling, embroidery, electronics, canvas painting etc.
The Food Court at the quadrangle was a crowd-puller that tickled the palettes of the visitors with the ever so irresistible Pani Puri, Mayonnaise Sandwich, Oreo Milk Shake and Vanilla Pudding that were doled out generously at reasonable rates.
The entire project-based learning was a fruitful exercise for the students and the teaching faculty. The parents lauded the efforts put in by all and sundry and the day culminated on a happy note.
