The IBDP students of JG International School held their Theory of Knowledge (ToK) Exhibition on 14^th July 2022 in JG auditorium, JG Campus of Excellence. Many schools, colleges’  faculty members and students  attended this Exhibition and were impressed by the kind of discussions and deliberations that took place.  The ToK course provides an opportunity to explore and reflect the process of knowing. The TOK exhibition explores how ToK manifests in the real world.

The inter house English poem recitation competition was held on 8^th July, 2022. The competition was divided into three category: Sub- Junior- class IV-V, Junior- class VI- VII and Senior- class VIII- IX. The teachers in charge were- Mitisha Lalwani, Steffi Thomas.

Judges for the same were- Ms. Neelam Rathi and Ms. Yasmin Khan.

Scorers were- Ms. Vijayalalita, Ms. Shannon and Ms. Soma.

The following were the winners of the competition-

Graduation Ceremony for the students of class X and XII batch2021-22 ISC, AS Level and IBDP II was held on 30/06/22 in the auditorium from 5:00 p.m.

The students marched in the auditorium with their coordinators followed by lightning of the lamp by the dignitaries.

JG anthem was sung with pride.

The principal addressed the students and blessed them.

All the students were invited by their coordinators and were felicitated by our honourable chairman Dr M.P.Chandran.

The deserving young talents of JG International School were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school with commitment, confidence and competence on the fine morning of 30th June, 2022. The investiture ceremony, thus, marked the inaugural of the senior student council for the academic session 2022-23; however, owing to the present Covid situation, the ceremony was held online with only Class XII being the audience in the auditorium. The programme began with the welcoming of the guests, the Chairman, Dr. M. P. Chandran, Principal, Dr.

This year JGIS has got its Council members through selection procedure. On 20^th June, nomination forms were given to the aspirants. They were to submit their duly filled forms on the 22^nd. On that day itself, scrutiny was done and the finalists were selected by the election committee.

Yoga is said to have originated in India and speculated to date back to pre-Vedic Indian traditions. It is mentioned in the Rigveda, but most likely developed between the fifth and sixth centuries BC. The actual Sanskrit word, ‘Yog’, when broken down, means ‘to control’ or ‘to unite’. The word has also been translated to mean ‘joining’, ‘uniting’ or ‘union’. The union is established between the self and the spirit. 

JG International School celebrated the completion of 18 years since its inception on 21^st June, 2022. The Chairman Dr. M. P. Chandran partook in the celebration organized in the school auditorium. The Principal Dr.Kavita Sharma, the Manager Administration and HR, Ms.Rekha Anil, the Manager Parent Relations, Ms.Rema Nair, students of Class XII and their class teachers were the audience.

Our nation’s 73^rd Republic Day was celebrated at JGIS, on 26th January, 2022 with immense patriotic fervour as is always the custom. The dignitaries for the event were the Chairman, Dr. M.P.Chandran, the Secretary, Mr.Joy Jose, the Treasurer, Mr.K.L.N Sastry, the Secretary ASIA, Mr.V.D.Prabhakaran, other Trustees, Members of the Managing Committee, the Principals and Staff Members of our extended family, other dignitaries and guests.

Preprimary Online Fancy Dress Show was held for 6 days, having one class each day, starting from 09/09/2021 and ending on 16/09/2021. It was conducted online, starting with Sr.KG Marigold and ending with Nursery Tulip.

The themes were, Plant Kingdom for Sr.KG, Animal Kingdom for Jr.KG and Colors for Nursery.

The Republic Day was celebrated on 26^th January, 2021. The dignitaries for the event were Chairman, ACT, Mr. K Mohanlal, Executive Director Dr. M. P. Chandran, other trustees and members of the Managing Committee, the Principals of various schools and colleges, other dignitaries, the Staff and parents.

The Online Inter- House Hindi Poem Recitation for three categories, first category consisting of classes I and II, second category consisting of classes III and IV and third category consisting of classes V and VI was held on 22^nd October, 2020.

The online Inter-house Just a minute Competition from classes V-XII was held on 9^th October, 2020. The esteemed judges for the event were Ms. Gauri Wagenaar, Ms. Nimisha Kane and Ms. Bindu Pillay.

Ms. Gauri Wagenaar has more than 30 years of experience in creative thinking in the Netherlands and India. She has lived in two cultures and speaks six languages. She has combined academic teaching with nuts-and-bolts advocacy to bridge the differences between corporate cultures.

The first online Fancy Dress Show for the students of Classes I and II was conducted by JG International School. The show was conducted for 6 days starting from September 25, 2020 and ended on October 5, 2020.

The purpose of conducting the show was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them the opportunity to speak in front of the audience.

The online Inter-house English Declamation Competition for classes V to VIII was held on 7^th August, 2020. The event was live streamed and presided over by the Principal, Dr. Kavita Sharma. The judges for the event were Ms. Medha Agarwal, an author, Ms. Harita Patel who was a freelance journalist with Times of India and is currently an empanelled trainer with Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat and Ms.

The online Inter-house English Recitation Competition for classes III to VIII was held on 10​^th​ July,2020. The event was live streamed and presided over by the Principal, Dr. Kavita Sharma. The judges for the event were Ms. Shilpa Thakkar, a dedicated educator, Ms. Uma Oza, an educationist deeply committed in helping schools build communities ​and Ms. Anar Shukla, an education researcher.​
