Trip to Dwarka (Class – V) – 2023

An educational camp for classes XI and XII (ISC), to Dandeli, Karnataka from 2nd to 7th October, 2023 was organized. The purpose was to be one with nature and explore new territory, cuisine, culture and be amidst flora and fauna.
Day 1- The students began their journey and reached Hubli next morning.
Excursions and Tours form an important part of educative experience. Not only do the students discover new places but also learn self-reliance and taking care of themselves. As a part of this experience, an excursion to the famous Jim Corbett National Park was organized from 1st October to 7th October, 2023.

Grandparents are a delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories and love.
To shower love and respect towards the grandparents, The Preprimary celebrated Grandparents Day on 27th September, 2023.
A Photo Booth was put up in the auditorium. Grandparents had lovely time, getting clicked and creating memories.
Children welcomed the grandparents with tikka on their forehead and performed their aarti.
The theme ‘Our Universe’ always raises curiosity among the students to know more facts of the unreachable space.
Students of JG International school celebrated ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ with great pomp and festivity on 18th September, 2023. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav. A melodious song was sung in group praising the existence of Lord Ganesha. The students performed an obeisance dance on the most exuberant music and in colourful attire. The whole atmosphere was charged with festivity.
JG International School organized Inter House Hindi Poem Recitation on 15th September, 2023. Students of classes I to V participated in the competition.
The Judges were Ms. Chandni Khattar and Ms. Rachna Sharma.
There were two categories; A and B, category A consisted of classes I and II, and category B included students of classes III, IV & V.
Teaching children about ocean animals is very important as 75% of earth’s surface is covered with ocean. They can affect weather, food, temperature and even our life as 70%-80% of oxygen is supplied by marine plants. The never-ending water body is filled with various aquatic animals that are interesting, unique and mysterious. Although we have explored only five percent of the water bodies, we have already discovered around 230,000 species.
The toddlers of Nursery went to Kankaria Zoo on 15th September, 2023 to see wildlife, a whole new world of wonder. The animals need not be large or exotic: even common wild creatures such as elephants, deer and birds bring a thrill to children. Seeing wild animals in nature can become a child’s treasured memory. Wild animals have certain qualities that make them mysterious and exciting to children. Wild animals have to find their own food and they eat “weird things” like bugs and worms.
God could not be everywhere and therefore made mothers. No one can play the role that mothers play in the upbringing of children. To celebrate this role of mothers J G International School organized “Moms at School” on 13th September 2023.
