JG International School welcomed a team of representatives from India and foreign Universities for an insightful interactive session with students from classes IX to XII on 29th August, 2024. During the event, the representatives provided detailed information about the various programs offered by their institutions, as well as future career prospects for students.

JG International School organized a valuable session on “Career Counseling” for the students of classes IX to XII on 20th August, 2024. Recognizing that high school is a pivotal period for making future career decisions, the school aimed to provide guidance and clarity to students about their career paths.
An exhilarating Inter-House Quiz Competition was held on Friday, 16th August 2024, wherein students from classes VI to XII participated with diverse range of questions. The competition was divided into two categories, Junior (classes VI to VII) and Senior (classes IX to XII), aiming to enhance students' general knowledge in History, Science and Technology, Current Affairs, Sports and Entertainment.
JG International School celebrated 78th Independence Day of India with great fervour and zeal. The occasion commenced with a warm welcome address by the esteemed Principal, Dr. Kavita Sharma, setting the tone for the patriotic fervor. The national flag was hoisted by Dr. M P Chandran, Chairman of the Asia Charitable Trust, as students along with the attendees stood in unity, echoing the national anthem.
The Head Girl and the Head Boy delivered stirring speeches, emphasizing the nation's journey and the importance of responsible citizenship.
The Inter House English Poem Recitation Competition was held on 9th August, 2024 comprising the students of classes I and II. For the competition, the participants were divided into two categories-

JG International School took initiative to introduce Kalaripayattu, an ancient Indian martial art from Kerala and conducted a 3-day workshop to raise awareness about this ancient practice, in gaining mastery over the body and mind.
The Inter House English Declamation Competition held for classes VI to VIII on 2nd August, 2024, was a vibrant celebration of oratory skills and literary appreciation. The event aimed to provide a platform for participants to showcase their eloquence, interpretation, and expressive abilities.
Participants were required to deliver a declamation of a pre-selected literary piece. Each performance was judged based on the following criteria:
We are delighted to share that JG International School achieved a remarkable victory in the North West Region (NWR) Football Tournament 2024, hosted by SGVP International School in Ahmedabad on 31st July, 2024. This tournament brought together the region's top schools, exhibiting a high level of skill and sportsmanship.
The Inter house Hindi Elocution Competition for two categories was held on 26th July, 2024. First category comprising students of classes VI and VII. Similarly, second category consisting of students from classes VIII and IX.
The Judges for the competition were Ms. Neeti Bhatt and Ms. Archana Chaurasia.
There were 8 participants in each category and at the end the judges declared the results.
The JG Campus of Excellence was filled with excitement as JG International School, Ahmedabad, India in collaboration with Keimei Gakuin High School, Kobe, Japan launched their pioneering Indo-Japanese Nursery School named “Sakura” on 25th July, 2024. This event signifies a major milestone in educational partnerships, blending the cultural and educational traditions of India and Japan.
JG International School hosted Swadha-The JGIS Fest on 20th July, 2024, an exhilarating inter-school literary and sports competition that brought together around 500 students from 21 esteemed schools across Ahmedabad. This fest featured a variety of events held in Junior and Senior categories, highlighting the students' creativity and abilities.
JGIS conducted a fire mock drill on 18th July, 2024 with an objective to educate students and staff about emergency evacuation procedures.
The drill commenced with the fire alarm sound and keeping in view all the safety measures, the students and staff were successfully evacuated to the designated area on the school grounds.
JGMUN 5.0 hosted on 13th and 14th of July 2024, was an event that will be embedded in all the delegates’ minds forever, especially JGIS students.
The English Poem Recitation Competition was held on 12th July 2024. The students of classes III to VIII were the participants as well as audience for the competition. For the competition, the participants were divided into two categories-
Group A- Classes III, IV and V
Group B- Classes VI, VII and VIII
Six students were selected from each house- Three students from group A while the other three from group B category. There were twenty four participants in all.
