The children of Grade I Mars had given presentation on “Changing the world with Kindness” on 13th March, 2018. They worked collaboratively for their presentation. The message passed on to the audience was we should always be polite in our actions and words so we can bring a change. They presented this very confidently on the stage.
Sports Day for Pre-primary to class II was held on Saturday the 17th of February 2018 in the school grounds. All the races were designed according to the theme “At The Circus”. The event began with a colourful clown dance. Various elements of a circus – juggling, acrobatics, gymnastics added variety to the races displaying co-ordination and gross motor skills of the students. Students of class III culminated their novel “ Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ” by putting up a sale of chocolates for parents and students.
Anthony Robbins says, “It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives. It’s what we doconsistently.” Thus, the students of Grade IV Emerald shared one of the hidden secret to be successful through their fabulous Class Presentation On the topic “ Consistency” and portrayed the need to show consistent effort and hard work to overcome our problems and rise up every time we fall.
J G international school hosted its first Literary week from [05/02/18 – 09/02/18]. Students from classes I – VI enthralled the audience by bringing to life the classics that they had read during the year-“The Cat in the Hat” by class I, “The Jungle Book by class II, The Wizard of Oz by class IV, “Great Expectations” by class V, “ Bond with Nature” by class VI. The excitement of the students grew each day when they were quizzed on “Charlie and the Chocolate factory ” read by class III.
We the students of JG International school are enthused to share with you that the JGIS is celebrating its Literary Fest.
This week long celebration will begin from 5th of February ,2018 and will conclude on the 9th of February, 2018. Students of classes I –VI will bring to life each day the novels that they have read in the year.
The students of Grade IV Ruby showcased a class presentation on the immune system of our body. It was a short dramatic performance related to science which conveyed a strong message. It had also the elements of music and dance. The students demonstrated the immune response of our body towards invading pathogens like bacteria or virus through personification. It gave an insight on how the body fights diseases and the role of immune system in maintaining proper health.
On February 2nd, 2018, the students of Class XI (Einstein) performed a skit on ‘Wars’ in the auditorium. Strong messages were conveyed on to the audience through this play, which were, wars are chaotic and irrelevant. Not only does a soldier suffer but also his near and dear ones do. Soldiers are nothing but mere puppets at the hands of the warmongers. Also, that each individual should have the freedom to choose his/her own career and choices can never be forced. The skit was well appreciated by the audience.
“Weave the magic of happiness” as there is no key to happiness and the door to happiness is always open. The students of Class III Water enlightened everyone with their simple and beautiful thoughts through a skit and dance performance. Everyone reflected that they do not value the things which almighty has given them and this leads to unhappiness. There will always be someone who will have more or less than you have. We should be happy with what we have in our life.
Progress is impossible without change, those who have a drive for change can only bring a significant change in anything. Students of Class-III Sky put up a presentation on the topic “Change Your Ways” through a skit and dance. A very valuable message was conveyed; we can change our destructive actions and create a green environment in the community. A change within oneself can bring a great change in others too. The students demonstrated their communication skills with great confidence.
