  • Graduation Ceremony - 2022

    Graduation Ceremony for the students of class X and XII batch2021-22 ISC, AS Level and IBDP II was held on 30/06/22 in the auditorium from 5:00 p.m.

    The students marched in the auditorium with their coordinators followed by lightning of the lamp by the dignitaries.

    JG anthem was sung with pride.

    The principal addressed the students and blessed them.

    All the students were invited by their coordinators and were felicitated by our honourable chairman Dr M.P.Chandran.

  • Investiture Ceremony - 2022

    The deserving young talents of JG International School were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school with commitment, confidence and competence on the fine morning of 30th June, 2022. The investiture ceremony, thus, marked the inaugural of the senior student council for the academic session 2022-23; however, owing to the present Covid situation, the ceremony was held online with only Class XII being the audience in the auditorium.   • School Birthday - 2022

    JG International School celebrated the completion of 18 years since its inception on 21st June, 2022. The Chairman Dr. M. P. Chandran partook in the celebration organized in the school auditorium. The Principal Dr.Kavita Sharma, the Manager Administration and HR, Ms.Rekha Anil, the Manager Parent Relations, Ms.Rema Nair, students of Class XII and their class teachers were the audience.

  • World Yoga Day - 2022

    Yoga is said to have originated in India and speculated to date back to pre-Vedic Indian traditions. It is mentioned in the Rigveda, but most likely developed between the fifth and sixth centuries BC. The actual Sanskrit word, ‘Yog’, when broken down, means ‘to control’ or ‘to unite’. The word has also been translated to mean ‘joining’, ‘uniting’ or ‘union’. The union is established between the self and the spirit.

    Our nation’s 73rd Republic Day was celebrated at JGIS, on 26th January, 2022 with immense patriotic fervour as is always the custom. The dignitaries for the event were the Chairman, Dr. M.P.Chandran, the Secretary, Mr.Joy Jose, the Treasurer, Mr.K.L.N Sastry, the Secretary ASIA, Mr.V.D.Prabhakaran, other Trustees, Members of the Managing Committee, the Principals and Staff Members of our extended family, other dignitaries and guests.

    The complex human brain is capable of creating a constant flow of divergent ideas. And, creative and well-wrought ideas are the ideal way forward for mankind and that again if well-executed, can pave the way to innumerable and endless possibilities. We, at JG International School, value the skills of selection, evaluation and judgment to whittle down our lists to the most useful and doable ideas. These in turn, entail a series of deliberations, and debates about the true potential of ideas.

    The Independence Day of India, which is celebrated religiously throughout the country on the 15th of August every year, holds tremendous ground in the list of national days, since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance from the clutches of British colonialism of more than 200 years. It was on 15th August, 1947, that India was declared independent from British colonialism, and the reins of control were handed over to the leaders of the country.
