The Inter-House English Recitation Competition was held on 10th July, 2026 at the JG Auditorium, providing a wonderful platform for students of Classes III to VIII to showcase their oratory skills, confidence and appreciation for poetry. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, while their peers formed an attentive and encouraging audience.
The participants were divided into three categories, Category A (Classes III & IV), Category B (Classes V & VI) and Category B (Classes VII & VIII). Each house nominated six participants—three from each category.
The event was judged by Ms. Steffi Thomas and Ms. Shilpa Thakkar, who brought their valuable expertise to the competition. The participants were evaluated on the basis of Selection of the poem, Pronunciation, Memory and confidence, Voice modulation and articulation, Clarity and Overall impression.
All four houses participated with great enthusiasm and the young performers captivated the audience with their outstanding performances.

- Second Position – Yash Harisingani (VI-Bhagat Singh) Chandrashekar House
- Third Position – Kanvi Patel (V-Nehru) Rabindranath Tagore House
Category C (Classes VII & VIII)
- First Position – Rianna Darji (VIII-CISCE Vivekanand) Amartya Sen House
- Second Position – Aanya Shah (VII-CISCE Ashoka) Amartya Sen House
- Third Position – Janani Sandeepdas (VII-CISCE Ashoka) Chandrashekar House
The event concluded with insightful feedback from the judges, who appreciated the participants’ sincere efforts, followed by the National Anthem.
