JGIS was founded in 2004 to realize the vision of creating a school where young children emerge as global citizens of tomorrow. This has manifested into a set of values and effective pedagogical practices that enable students to discover their inherent potential.
Teaching learning environment

Integrated approach
In alignment with its objective of well-rounded development of every student, the school focuses on weaving in various non scholastic activities/ skills in pedagogy. The community service and social work form an essential part of curriculum to sensitize the students to the environment around them. The school ensures that every student acquires a skill by pursuing an activity and sports every day during school hours itself for which the school offers a plethora of activities and games. The school creates varied national and international platforms for students to further hone their skills.
Learning centric infrastructure
The school has wide open spaces and green lawns – well-designed sports areas, play-park for younger children, indoor games arena, air-conditioned learning zones, infirmary and capacious auditorium. Class sizes are small with a teacher/student ratio of 1:7. Classrooms are technology-enabled making the teaching-learning process lively and challenging. There are fully equipped laboratories for Computers, Sciences, and Mathematics. The school also has a well-equipped Visual Art studio, a state-of-the-art Library and a Guidance and Counselling cell.
College Counselling
The school has a provision of college counselling for students during school hours. The college counselor prepares students to get placements in colleges of their caliber and choice. JGIS is proud of its alumni pursuing prestigious courses in reputed Universities in India and abroad.
Health and Safety
Health and safety of students and staff is of paramount importance at JGIS. The school provides wholesome nutritious food thrice a day in a professionally managed in- house dining facility where students and teachers in defined groups partake meals.
The school has well equipped infirmary with qualified staff. It conducts regular medical checkups for students and staff.
The school also has a qualified Counsellor to take care of well-being of the students.
The campus is equipped with CCTV surveillance cameras in addition to manned security 24×7.
