The second day of Swadha – The JGIS Fest 2026 commenced on 18th July, 2026 with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Principal Dr. Kavita Sharma, Head – Administration and Human Resources, Dr. Rekha Anil, and Manager – Parent Relations and Academics, Ms. Rema Nair. The inaugural ceremony was followed by a melodious choir performance by the students, which set an inspiring and vibrant tone for the day’s events.
The day’s events included Poems Out Loud, Group Singing, Digital Logo Designing, Poster Making, Design Thinking Challenge and Mind Marathon. Among these, the Design Thinking Challenge emerged as a highlight, encouraging participants to develop innovative and practical solutions to real-world problems through teamwork and creative problem-solving.
The festival concluded with a valedictory and prize distribution ceremony, where winners, participating schools and judges were felicitated for their excellent performances and valuable contributions. The ceremony celebrated not only achievement but also the spirit of participation, collaboration and excellence displayed throughout the festival. Through Swadha – The JGIS Fest 2026, JG International School once again reaffirmed its commitment to holistic education by providing students with opportunities to excel in sports, literature, creativity and innovation, while nurturing confident, responsible, and future-ready learners.
