Election

JG International School successfully conducted the Student Council Election for the positions of Head Boy, Head Girl and Sports Captain on 26^th June, 2025 for the academic year 2025-2026, aiming to nurture responsible young leaders. The process included nominations, vibrant campaigns and a fair voting system overseen by the School Election Commission from Class XI.

The results were announced by the Principal, Dr. Kavita Sharma.

Election is an organized process through which the heads of a democratic country are elected. It gives the people the most important political right- Right to vote.

This year JGIS has got its Council members through selection procedure. On 20^th June, nomination forms were given to the aspirants. They were to submit their duly filled forms on the 22^nd. On that day itself, scrutiny was done and the finalists were selected by the election committee.

Election is an organized process through which the heads of a democratic country are elected. It gives the people the most important political right- Right to vote. At JGIS, this year too we elected the Head Boy and the Head Girl through this procedure. We conducted a mock election. The purpose of it was to give the children a ‘Hands on’ experience on the conduction of election.  We followed the same procedures as is followed in the actual election.

We conducted a mock election. The purpose of it was to give the children a ‘Hands on” experience on the conduction of election. Election was on 27th June in the auditorium. Four booths were made. Each booth has a laptop and a technician from the school. Names and the symbols were appeared on the screen. The voters had to click twice, one for the Head Boy and the other Head Girl.
